GENERAL TERMS

The website “keleon.gr” (hereinafter the “Website”) is an e-shop of the sole proprietorship owned by DIMITRA KARAVIOTI, daughter of GEORGIOS, trading in standardised foodstuffs and olive oil, trading as ‘KELEON OLIVE PRODUCTS’, with registered offices in Thessaloniki at 31, G. Papandreou Street, GR-54645, TIN 025420742, 8th THESSALONIKI TAX OFFICE, Tel.: 2310220035, hereinafter the “Enterprise”, and is for all Internet users.

This Website and its content belongs solely and exclusively to the Enterprise, is covered by its copyright and trademarks, and is protected by the commercial and other applicable provisions in force under Greek, European and international legislation. It is prohibited to copy, reproduce, relay, republish, resell or use all or part of them in any way without the consent of the Enterprise in writing.

The e-shop enables any user connecting to the Website (hereinafter the “User” or “Users”) to purchase top-quality Greek olive oil and other products (hereinafter the “Products”). Users confirming orders placed are referred to as purchasers (hereinafter the “Purchaser” or “Purchasers”).

Users/Purchasers must be over the age of 18 and be of full legal capacity.

Purchasers who order Products via the Website must have read and expressly agreed to these Terms and Conditions of Sale.

These terms fully conform to the European and Greek legislation in force regulating e-commerce and remote sales issues.

Users acknowledge the right of the Enterprise to amend any provisions hereof insofar as such amendments do not affect the legally binding obligations of either party towards the other.

The Enterprise may, at any time and without providing notice to Users, effect changes and improvements to the Website which, at its discretion, will facilitate its operation.

Website users/visitors acknowledge that they have read and agree to these terms, and undertake to comply with them.

The terms, conditions and amendments thereto are those in effect on the date of performance of the order.

Users may save or print the terms and conditions of sale, provided they have not been altered in any way.

Users may not use keleon.gr in a manner that could destroy, deactivate or harm the Enterprise or in ways that interfere with the use and operation of its provisions and services by any other User.

PURPOSE

The purpose of these Terms and Conditions of Sale is to lay down the rights and obligations of both parties solely and exclusively regarding the direct connection of sales of Products offered on the Website via the Internet, i.e. the completion of the remote sale agreement with the Enterprise.

A further purpose is to apply all the actions necessary to ensure this order between the parties.

This document is the sole document governing relations between the parties. It shall nullify and replace all other documents.

This sale agreement concluded between the parties shall be governed by Greek law, and the courts of the city of Thessaloniki shall have jurisdiction over any disputes.

SALE AGREEMENT

After visiting the Website in question, Users can purchase the Product(s) of their choosing by following the steps below:

• First, if the Product has variants (on the basis of its size or packaging), Users can choose the variant they prefer and the system will display the corresponding price and availability.
• Second, if the Product is available, Users select the desired quantity (default setting: 1) and then select “Add to Cart”. If the variant is unavailable, a relevant notification will be displayed and Users will not be able to add the Product to the “cart”. In order to learn about its availability in the future or to place a pre-order, Users must contact the Enterprise via telephone or e-mail.
• Third, if the Product and the specific variable desired is available, Users can add it to their “cart”, review the Products added to it and information on the quantities, total amounts and grand total amount payable. Users can edit the quantity of a Product or remove it from the purchase list entirely. They can also use discount coupons, if available. In this case, after clicking on “Apply coupon”, the discount amount and renewed final amount will be displayed.
• Fourth, Users click on “Proceed to checkout” and fill in the charging/delivery details of their order. Optionally, they can create a Keleon account by filling in the desired password. After accepting these terms, Users will choose among the delivery and payment methods available.
  Upon completing the order, Users will receive automated e-mail messages informing them of the status and progress of their order.
  The sale agreement will only be completed once the Enterprise has checked the payment and confirmed the shipping of Products.

Alternative, in order to purchase Products, Users can send an e-mail message to or with their order, accompanied by a specific code, or call +302310220035.

Users can purchase Products without registering on the Enterprise’s e-shop.

SHIPPING AND DELIVERY

The time and way Products are shipped depends on the delivery method, as Purchasers can choose to visit the Enterprise’s Premises and physically receive them or have them delivered by courier service to a place of their choosing. In the latter case, the time will depend on the place of collection, as well as the availability of the Product selected. In order for delivery times to apply, the Enterprise must have received the Purchaser’s order between Monday and Friday and by 14:00 (on other days and at other hours, the next working day will be considered the day on which the order was placed). The Products selected can be delivered using an Enterprise vehicle within Thessaloniki at no charge, provided the total order exceeds €40 in value.

Purchasers can track their Products by using the unique order number found in the e-mail/electronic message sent by the Enterprise to confirm the order.

The shipping cost will be set according to the delivery method, once the Purchaser has entered the postcode of the delivery address.

Products are shipped every day except on weekends.

In case of a delay due to force majeure events, such as extreme weather conditions or general strikes, we will notify you of the reason for the delay and the date the order will be completed once feasible. In such cases, keleon.gr and our Enterprise shall bear no liability whatsoever.

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

The Enterprise sells Products via the e-shop in accordance with the applicable rules and legal framework in place. The Enterprise shall bear no liability whatsoever for any losses incurred by customers or Users of the e-shop, save the obligation to return and replace its Products in accordance with the terms below.

The Enterprise shall bear no liability whatsoever for any losses incurred by Users/Purchasers or any other person and caused by malfunction or poor use of the services, pages, choices, content, service provision and information provided by the server, and/or random illicit interference by third parties with Products, services and information provided thereby.

Furthermore, cases of errors or omissions during the online registration of data/information provided by Purchasers.

Lastly, cases of incorrect functioning off the e-shop due to random occurrences caused by other entities.

The Enterprise reserves the right to amend or renew the terms of use and conditions of transactions, the content of information, as well as the services provided with no previous notice, its sole obligation being to update this Website and under the commitment of non-retroactivity of less favourable terms.

The Enterprise provides information on the components and properties of the Products it promotes via the Website/e-shop. All the technical details published online originate from information provided by associates providing olive oil and other Greek Products. The website keleon.gr shall bear no liability for any omissions, errors or other omissions regarding this information, as well as any printing, spelling and syntactical errors, or regarding the external - linked websites which Users/Purchasers can visit via links.

The photographs of Products are clear and high-quality in order to provide Purchasers with a satisfactory image of their purchase and, in all cases, fall under the copyright of the Enterprise or its third-party associates.

The Enterprise expressly reserves the right to adjust the prices indicated without notice. The price in effect for each sale is that price at the time the order is placed. Various Product offers apply until stocks are exhausted or otherwise stated by the Enterprise.

As errors are always a possibility, we recommend that, when Purchasers see a particularly high or low price for a Product they contact the Enterprise by telephone to confirm the information before placing an order.

USER OBLIGATIONS

The e-shop must be used for legitimate purposes in accordance with good commercial practice and the laws in force, and in a manner that does not cause harm or malfunctions to the Website and does not limit or impede its use by third parties.

Users shall be held liable for any losses caused due to poor, illegal or illicit use of the services of the Enterprise and conduct in breach of good commercial practice.

Users/Purchasers may not copy, reproduce, relay, republish, resell or otherwise use this Website or its contents in any way (including but not limited to photographs, Products, trademarks, logos, etc.), whether on an individual basis or en masse, and expressly acknowledge that they fall under the copyright of the Enterprise, and its third-party associates and are protected by the relevant trademark and copyright provisions.

AVAILABILITY

Clear indications on the availability of all Products are provided, namely: “Available”, “Limited availability” or “Currently out of stock”.

Available Products will be delivered at a time depending on the place and method of delivery. With regard to Products that are “Currently out of stock”, you can contact us via e-mail or telephone to learn about the date on which they will become available and the time-frame for their delivery to you.

DATA PROTECTION POLICY

The Enterprise collects and processes the personal data of Users, stores all communication between Users and the Website, including e-mail messages, solely and exclusively for the purposes of the services provided, in accordance with the personal data protection policies based on the applicable Greek, European and international legislation on promoting and searching for services via the Internet, as well as e-commerce and remote sales of Products, as well as the advertising of such services. Requests for the provision of services by Users shall be equivalent to permission simultaneously granted to the Enterprise to carry out the foregoing. It is expressly stated that information pertaining to the credit or debit cards that Purchasers will use to procure the Products shall not be processed or stored.

The website keleon.gr expressly undertakes not to illicitly use your personal data, and it shall under no circumstances share, disclose, reveal, sell, lease, cede or exchange the personal information you provide us regarding your order in any way, the sole exception being the lifting of confidentiality for purposes of compliance with court judgments, decisions issued by authorised state authorities, etc., in accordance with the provisions in force from time to time.

The Enterprise reserves the right to change the terms of personal data protection, always in accordance with the laws in force and after having first informed Users to this effect.

Users/Purchasers reserve the right to withdraw the permission for the processing and storage of their personal data by the Enterprise, the sole requirement being to declare their wishes in writing by sending a relevant e-mail message to the e-mail address of the Enterprise and receive an e-mail response confirming its receipt by the latter.

USE OF COOKIES

The website keleon.gr uses cookies. Users have the right to choose whether or not to consent to their use by visiting the website keleon.gr. There is a “Cookies Settings” option which Users can select in order to ensure that statistical data are not collected. Use of statistical data shall under no circumstances constitute processing of personal data, and they are collected in anonymous form.

PLACEMENT OF ORDERS

Purchasers can place orders online, accompanied by a specific code, or by calling +302310220035 or by sending an e-mail to or .

A. Online order steps:

• Step 1: Users select the Product(s) of their choosing with a specific Product code from the available menu of Products.
• Step 2: Users select the Product packaging size (e.g. 100ml/gr, 250ml/gr, etc.) from the options available.
• Step 3: Users select how many Products of each type they desire (Product code quantity, e.g. 1, 2, 3, etc.) and places them in the “cart”. If their choice is unavailable, a relevant notification will be displayed and Users will not be able to add the Product to the cart. In order to learn about its availability in the future or to place a pre-order, Users must contact us via telephone or e-mail.
• Step 4: Once Users confirm that all their choices are correctly in the “cart” (adding or removing any, if they so wish), they can use a discount coupon, if available, by clicking on the “Apply coupon” button, in which case the discount amount and renewed final amount will be displayed.
• Step 5: After completing the above steps, Users click on “Proceed to checkout}”, which means that they consent to the TERMS AND CONDITIONS indicated via a link at the bottom left section of the e-shop Website. They must then fill out their charging/shipping details for their order: Name, Surname, Country/Area, Address, City, Postcode, Telephone number, E-mail address. Optionally, they can create a Keleon account by filling in the desired password.
• Step 6: Users select the shipping method, which may be a) collect from store; b) shipping via courier/transport service (for orders in Greece, the charge is approximately proportional to the weight of the Products, while for international orders there is a variable charge depending on the distance and packaging).
• Step 7: Users select the payment method, which can be Cash-on-Delivery (payment using cash / debit or credit card upon delivery / collection from the physical store), or direct transfer - deposit into the bank account of the Enterprise indicated on the e-shop and in the order confirmation e-mail, or online payment using debit/credit cards via the PayPal platform.
• Step 8: Users place the order. In cases of payment via COD or debit/credit card (PayPal), the order is placed and forwarded for processing. In cases of payment via bank transfer, the order is placed as pending payment confirmation. Payment is confirmed solely by the Enterprise, and any deposit slips shall not constitute confirmation.

Upon completing the order, Users will receive an automated e-mail message informing them of the status and progress of their order. It is recommended that Users verify the details of their order. If they ascertain any errors, they must immediately contact the Enterprise via telephone or e-mail, indicating the order code and the error in question. Once the order has been processed and the payment for the order has been confirmed, the Enterprise will send a new e-mail message to the Purchaser on the shipping of the order accompanied by the shipping code or indicating the date of collection by the Purchaser at the Enterprise’s premises.

B. Telephone order steps:

Orders can be placed by calling the call centre of the Enterpriseat +302310220035. Users call the call centre of the Enterprise and indicate the Product code, quantity, packaging and delivery method they desire. The Enterprise will send them a confirmation e-mail message with the total cost of the order and information on payment methods (cash, deposit into bank account, payment using the PayPal platform). Once payment has been confirmed, Purchasers will receive a new e-mail message informing them of the shipping time-frame and method.

C. E-mail order steps:

Users can send their order to the e-mail address or indicating the Product codes, quantity and delivery method. The Enterprise will send them a confirmation e-mail message with the total cost of the order, informing them that the amount must be paid and providing information on payment methods (cash, deposit into bank account, payment using the PayPal platform). Once payment has been confirmed, Purchasers will receive a new e-mail message informing them of the shipping time-frame and method.

The Enterprise reserves the right to change the price-list without notice and without affecting the prices of orders already placed.

The Product shall be accompanied by purchase invoices.

Prices do not include shipping costs, which are indicated during the order process before the order is accepted and completed.

RETURN RIGHTS

All Purchasers shall have the right to withdraw from the sale agreement by filling out the WITHDRAWAL form, sending it via e-mail and returning the Product purchased within 3 working days of the delivery date. In this case, the return costs shall be borne by the Purchaser.

In order for returns to be accepted, the Products must be in their original packaging, in the state in which they were delivered, complete, free of damage and unused.

Products must be accompanied by their purchase invoice.

The refund shall take place within 30 working days, starting from the date on which the Product was delivered by the Purchaser.

APPLICABLE LAW

Should any of the above provisions become incompatible with the law, it shall automatically cease to apply and shall be removed from the agreement, and shall in no way affect the validity of the remaining terms.

Users acknowledge that the entire content of the website keleon.gr, including images, graphics, photographs, texts, designs, services provided and, generally, all files found on this Website, fall under the copyright, registered trademarks and service marks of keleon.gr and of the Enterprise and are protected under the applicable provisions of Greek and European law, as well as international conventions and treaties. Consequently, none of the foregoing can be copied, altered, reproduced, republished, processed, transmitted, distributed or sold, whether in part or in whole, in any manner to other persons. Users acknowledge that it is prohibited to exploit all or part of the content of this Website in any manner.
